The rules we operate by

A trust product earns trust by publishing its own rules and keeping them. These are ours — how reports work, how experiences are shared, what Premium can and cannot buy, and what happens to your data.

GuyID Trust Standard · Section 1

Trust is never for sale.

Every tier — including Elite — is earned through evidence and can be reached by any user for free. Premium buys effort and presentation: enhanced verification, voice-vouch playback, card finishes, analytics. It never buys a tier, a badge, or a better position than you earned.

Vouches are unlimited and free, forever.

Reports and concerns

  • Anyone can report a profile — no account needed

Reporting is a public safety feature. Reports can be anonymous, and a reporter's name and email are never shown to the person being reported.

  • Reports are never public

Nothing a reporter writes appears on any profile, ever. Reports go to a restricted queue that only GuyID can read, and the founder is notified of every one.

  • A human reviews every report

Reports are reviewed by a person, not an algorithm. Actions range from contacting the profile owner to restricting or removing a profile.

  • Concerns surface only after review — and only as a count

A concern appears on a profile only if human review confirms it, and only as a structured indicator. Free-text accusations are never published. Profile owners are given the chance to respond during review.

  • What reporting is not

Reporting is not a rating system and not a place to settle disputes. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation and can affect the reporter's own standing.

GuyID Trust Standard · Section 3

Date experiences

  • Only real interactions count

Sharing a date experience requires a signed-in account, and you cannot submit one for yourself. One submission per person, per profile.

  • The profile owner must accept before anything appears

Date experiences are consent-based: the owner is notified and must confirm the date before it becomes visible. Either person can remove it later.

  • Structured, positive-only fields

Experiences are built from structured details — when, where, what you enjoyed — not open-ended reviews. Safety issues belong in a report, where a human reads them, not on a public page.

Your data

  • ID images are never retained

Government-ID images are processed by GuyID's identity verification provider; GuyID does not retain the ID images.

  • Your data is not for sale

GuyID does not sell personal data. See the Privacy Policy for how account, verification, and analytics data are handled.

  • You control disclosure

Your card is shared when you share it. Verification confirms identity signals; identity verification confirms selected identity signals. It is not a background check and does not guarantee safety, character, or intent.

Questions about a report, a review decision, or your data? Appeals and questions go straight to the founder.
