GuyID Editorial Policy

How GuyID researches, reviews, corrects, and maintains dating safety and identity verification guidance.

Editorial independence

GuyID publishes information intended to help readers make safer, better-informed decisions. Product or commercial interests do not change the evidence threshold applied to an article. Coverage does not guarantee that a person, profile, platform, or service is safe.

Research and sourcing

Material factual claims should be supported by identifiable primary or authoritative sources. Statistics, legal claims, platform capabilities, and safety recommendations receive additional scrutiny. Sources must be relevant to the specific claim and current enough for the subject.

Fact checking and review

Articles pass structured checks for claims, citations, metadata, accessibility, originality, and publishing integrity. High-risk claims require claim-level provenance and human approval. Automated systems support this process but do not replace editorial accountability.

Authors and accountability

GuyID identifies the responsible author or reviewer and distinguishes reported facts from analysis and practical guidance. Ravishankar Jayasankar is accountable for final editorial approval unless another reviewer is named.

Corrections and updates

Substantive errors are corrected promptly. Material updates should change the article's modified date; cosmetic edits should not. Readers can report an error through the GuyID support channel, with the article URL and the statement that requires review.

AI-assisted publishing

GuyID may use AI systems for research organization, drafting assistance, quality checks, image production, and distribution planning. Published work remains subject to source verification, editorial review, provenance controls, and human approval. Unsupported claims and fabricated citations are prohibited.

Safety and privacy

Editorial content avoids exposing private personal information and does not encourage harassment, surveillance, or non-consensual investigation. Identity verification and trust signals reduce uncertainty; they do not predict conduct or eliminate risk.

Contact

Questions, corrections, and source concerns can be submitted through GuyID Support. Privacy practices are explained in the Privacy Policy, and service conditions are covered by the Terms of Service.
